MEC Consulting Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Lighting Consultant to join our Nottingham-based Lighting team. You will deliver street lighting designs, impact assessments and daylight analyses, while managing projects and mentoring junior colleagues.

The role supports flexible travel to Leicester or Birmingham and requires collaboration with clients and authorities to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will utilise tools such as Dialux Evo, Lighting Reality, SketchUp and AutoCAD, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience delivering lighting consultancy work including lighting designs and assessments.
• Ability to model, analyse and mitigate lighting impacts to meet standards.
• Strong client liaison and report writing skills, with timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver street lighting designs, impact and daylight assessments for varied projects.
• Manage projects to programmes and budgets, maintain client relationships.
• Mentor junior colleagues and develop the Lighting team.
• Lead site visits, client meetings and third-party approvals as required.
• Prepare reports, drawings, calculations and client correspondence within deadlines.
