Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Lighting Consultant to join our growing lighting team in the UK. The role covers street lighting designs, impact and daylight assessments, project management, and mentoring of graduates and apprentices. Flexible working arrangements apply, with travel across sites and clients as required.

You will use Dialux Evo, Lighting Reality, SketchUp and AutoCAD to deliver high-quality reports and designs, while maintaining QA standards and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lighting design and related assessments.
• Strong project management and budgeting abilities.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver street lighting designs, lighting impact assessments and daylight assessments.
• Lead projects across various sectors within budgets and timelines.
• Mentor graduates and apprentices, conduct reviews and training.
• Prepare and present fee proposals, scopes and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, planning authorities, highway authorities and stakeholders.
