Job summary

SumUp is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Consumer Lifecycle team in London. You will own the onboarding funnel from signup through first transaction and ongoing engagement, balancing risk with a smooth user experience while driving activation at scale.

Lead discovery, experiments and improvements across engineering, design, data and marketing to hit activation targets, reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a consumer product area with clear commercial and KPI accountability.
• Strong ability to prioritise across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience driving engagement or retention within a consumer-facing mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Own the consumer onboarding funnel end to end: signup, identity verification (KYC), first funding, first transaction and habitual use.
• Identify and ship product improvements at biggest drop-off points, starting with KYC to first transaction.
• Balance fraud and verification controls with a smooth, user-friendly product experience.
• Run discovery, experimentation and iteration cycles against activation targets, and report progress to consumer leadership.
