Job summary

University of Bath is seeking a Senior Library Assistant to join the busy Bibliographic Services team. You will help obtain and manage electronic and physical books from suppliers and support reprographics and Reading List services.

The role involves digitising resources, handling access issues, and assisting with journal and database subscriptions, working in a user-focused environment with excellent colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in library work is advantageous.
• Understanding of electronic and print books and periodicals markets is helpful.
• Familiarity with library systems and Reading List tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Search and order items for end use and support acquisitions.
• Digitise print resources for Reading Lists and document delivery.
• Troubleshoot access issues and collect data to inform purchasing decisions.
• Support Reading List material acquisition using Leganto and related systems.
• Provide a high-quality Copy and Print service to users.
