Job summary

haart Estate Agents in Clacton is seeking a Senior Lettings Negotiator with lettings experience to lead landlord and tenant relationships, arrange viewings, negotiate lets, and drive branch success. You will manage your own pipeline, generate new business and deliver a first-class customer experience from start to finish.

Essential skills include at least 12 months in residential lettings, a full UK driving licence, teamwork, strong customer service, initiative, and good IT literacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience within the residential lettings sector.
• Full UK Driving Licence (manual).
• Works well with others to create a team spirit.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Good telephone manner.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of current legislation related to residential lettings.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange property viewings.
• Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Assess/price properties for the market.
• Market properties to tenants using various methods.
• Generate and grow new and repeat business.
• Canvass the local area and promote the portfolio.
• Door-knocking and leaflet distribution.
• Ensure properties meet health and safety standards.

A day in the life of a Senior Lettings Negotiator at haart Estate Agents in Clacton:

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Experience assessing / valuing properties for the market
• Marketing properties to tenants utilizing various marketing skills
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Canvassing the local area
• Door knocking and leaflet dropping
• Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards
