Job summary

GCB Recruitment is seeking a Senior Lettings Consultant in Dunmow to join an award-winning estate agency. The role focuses on valuation, landlord instruction, and delivering exceptional lettings service within a busy, customer-facing team.

You will negotiate tenancy terms, coordinate viewings, and build strong landlord/tenant relationships while maintaining accurate records and using bespoke software. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' current residential lettings experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of the lettings process and local rental market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confident, outgoing and professionally presented.

Responsibilities

• Undertake rental valuations and secure new landlord instructions.
• Negotiate with landlords and provide professional lettings advice.
• Develop a strong understanding of the local lettings market.
• Coordinate and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
• Match applicants with suitable properties based on their requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and prospective tenants.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
