Job Description:

Delighted to be recruiting for one of the leading Insurance brands in the U.K., who are seeking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join their growing Specialty team.

This role will play an integral position in the development of the firm's Specialty business, which is a major growth area for the company.

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing expert legal advice and guidance on commercial/financial lines policy wordings.
• Collaborating extensively with Underwriters, Brokers & the firm's external partners.
• Drafting policy wordings related to financial and commercial Insurance lines.
• Ensuring any policy wordings meet the market and regulatory requirements across FCA and Lloyd's.

The successful candidate for this role will be:

• A qualified lawyer, with experience in drafting, reviewing and managing commercial insurance policy wordings.
• Extremely knowledgeable of FCA, Lloyd's and overseas regulatory requirements.
• Experienced in Financial Lines Coverage and London Market Wordings.
• Adaptable to the changing commercial needs of the business, and an ability to collaborate across multiple departments (underwriting, finance, claims).
