Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel

12 Months FTC

Location: Slough, United Kingdom

Sellick Partnership has partnered with a multinational insurance company seeking a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or progression to a permanent position.

This insurance company offers commercial, personal, and specialty lines products and operates within Lloyd's of London, maintaining an excellent reputation in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Have experience in insurance distribution.
• Develop, review, and negotiate a variety of insurance-related contracts and agreements, managing legal risks associated with insurance distribution channels.
• Provide support for the company's existing and new insurance products and services.
• Assist the underwriting team with policy drafting and policy wordings.
• Ideally have some experience in claims.

Candidates should have significant experience working within insurance, preferably within the London market. While candidates on short notice or with immediate availability are preferred, those with longer notice periods will also be considered.
