Job summary

Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, invites applications for an ALS Manager to drive inclusion and SEND support across its London and Manchester provision. You will lead on safeguarding, learner services, and quality of SEND education for 16-19 learners and apprentices.

The role requires senior ALS or SENCO experience, degree in a relevant field, and a passion for empowering diverse digital talent within a sixth-form context.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior ALS role within school/college or similar environment.
• Pastoral and SEND support with KS4, post 16 or adult learners.
• Experience coordinating with external agencies and managing EHCPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on continuous improvement of SEN/ALS provision across the college.
• Coordinate with external agencies and manage consultations and annual reviews.
• Oversee exam access arrangements in collaboration with Exams Officer.
• Lead creation of learner passports for reasonable adjustments.
• Train staff on SEND support and secure High Needs Funding with Finance.
• Support learners in London and Manchester through guidance and workplace adaptations.
