Job summary

St Elizabeth’s Centre in Hertfordshire is seeking a Senior Learning Practitioner for a 16-25 provision. The role is term-time only (39 weeks) with a pro rata annual salary of £24,202.

You will work with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver learning activities and support learners to achieve their goals. The successful candidate will have Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning and may have Makaton training.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with additional needs, including autism, epilepsy and learning disabilities.
• Confident delivering learning activities and managing classroom dynamics.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support learning activities for individuals, groups and classes.
• Assist with lesson planning, delivery and assessment.
• Monitor, record and report learner progress.
• Support development and implementation of learning, behaviour and personal care plans.
• Collaborate with education, therapy, medical and care teams to ensure outcomes.
