Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking a Senior Learning Coach to support students aged 16–25 with various needs. The role involves planning and delivering teaching sessions, learning and assessment for learners with learning disabilities and complex needs, with a flexible approach to curriculum changes.

You will need recent experience in this field, strong communication across all levels, and solid computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Recent experience of working with and supporting students aged 16–25 with a range of needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Experience sourcing work experience placements for young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver teaching sessions, learning and assessment for learners with learning disabilities/difficulties.
• Support students to succeed in achieving learning goals and qualifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to respond flexibly to curriculum needs and individual student needs.
