This role specifically leads on the professional skills pillar, ensuring we equip our managers with the tools they need to thrive and lead.

As Senior L&D Advisor, you’ll lead the end-to-end learning cycle for managers and senior managers—working closely with internal stakeholders and trusted external providers to design, deliver, and evaluate effective learning programmes that support both individual and organisational growth.

Contract: Full-time, fixed term from July 2025 to July 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual professional skills curriculum for Managers and Senior Managers in all client-facing teams.
  • Design, deliver, and review development programmes for People Managers, including those who support our trainee population.
  • Develop and implement wellbeing-focused learning initiatives in partnership with the Wellbeing Committee.
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions across leadership and interpersonal skills topics.
  • Collaborate with People Leads to identify development needs and shape learning interventions.
  • Support the firm’s Performance Management processes through timely training and resource delivery.
  • Ensure learning materials are accessible and organised via SharePoint and the firm’s intranet.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects within the Talent Development and People teams.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Demonstrated expertise in Learning & Development, with a track record of designing and delivering engaging professional skills training.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all levels of the business/
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the confidence to work independently when needed.
  • Solid proficiency in Office 365, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Bonus if you have:
  • Familiarity with leadership development or wellbeing-based learning programmes.
  • Salary Reviews: Twice a year to recognise your contributions.
  • Generous Annual Leave: Enjoy 25 days plus three days off at Christmas.
  • Flexible Working: We're committed to a positive work-life balance, offering a hybrid working policy that prioritises your well-being and flexibility.
  • Comprehensive Wellbeing Support: Access to Digicare+, Employee Assistance Programme, and more!
