Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lean Leader to drive operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and quality at the Nailsea site. You will partner with site leadership to deploy Lean Six Sigma initiatives delivering measurable productivity and quality gains.

The role requires a Black Belt, strong facilitation, and a track record of delivering large-scale improvements in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business.
• Significant experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, or supply chain leadership.
• Proven track record leading large-scale continuous improvement programs.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Master Black Belt preferred.
• Strong analytical, coaching, facilitation, and change management skills.
• Experience driving data-driven decision making in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site CI roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify transformation opportunities with Site Leader and leadership.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects using DMAIC, Kaizen, VSM, and Standard Work.
• Deliver targets for productivity, quality, cost, OTIF, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Coach leaders and teams in Lean principles and problem solving.
• Build a pipeline of high-impact improvement projects with measurable benefits.
