RINA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead high‑level substation design and power systems studies from multiple UK offices. The role emphasizes delivering compliant designs, coordinating with protection and control teams, and guiding junior engineers.

The position offers hybrid working with travel across the UK and requires a strong background in 11–400 kV projects and relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Senior-level electrical engineering with a focus on power systems design and substation projects.
• Experience in 11–400 kV substations and related protection & control systems.
• Knowledge of ENA/BS/IEC/IEEE/ANSI standards and UK regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation design projects ensuring safe, compliant solutions.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations and technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-disciplinary teams.
