Job summary

JPMorganChase in London is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to advance trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will drive technical direction within the Commercial & Investment Bank eTrading team and deliver high-quality code across multiple technologies.

You will mentor engineers, uphold responsible AI practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve design decisions, delivery speed, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
• Experience leading the use of enterprise AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including security considerations.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with cloud/AI/ML focus.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
