You will lead design and development across multiple domains, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, and ensure secure coding, automated testing, and high-quality production code. The role requires deep software architecture knowledge, cloud-native experience, and leadership in agile environments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their technology systems.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and teams on architecture and applicability.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve value of automation.
