Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a high-value Suffolk project. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, oversee commercial management, and report to directors on progress and risks.

The role requires experience leading large projects (£50m+), strong communication, and the ability to drive a region's growth. A permanent position with a competitive package and DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience at a Senior or Managing QS level leading new build projects £50m+.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working on 2-stage projects would be advantageous.
• Sector experience to include Commercial, Industrial or Defence.
• Previous roles: Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing QS or Commercial Manager or Lead Quantity Surveyor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors on a large project, performing commercial management functions.
• Produce CVRs, manage sub-contractor payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Report at a senior level to directors and contribute to team growth and regional expansion.
