Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a high-value Suffolk project. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, oversee commercial management, and report to directors on progress and risks.

The role requires experience leading large projects (£50m+), strong communication, and the ability to drive a region's growth. A permanent position with a competitive package and DOE.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years experience at a Senior or Managing QS level leading new build projects £50m+.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working on 2-stage projects would be advantageous.
• Sector experience to include Commercial, Industrial or Defence.
• Previous roles: Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing QS or Commercial Manager or Lead Quantity Surveyor.

Mansioni

Salary: c£95k-£105k basic (DOE) plus competitive package inc car allowance, healthcare, performance bonus and leading pension scheme.

Company & Project: A successful Tier 1 Main Contractor with stable pipeline of secured projects across Suffolk have a new and exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their business and lead a key project valued at over £100m.

The company are looking for a candidate that has experience managing others and is looking to make a decisive step in their career. They will consider experienced Senior QS candidates who have led projects over £50m looking for a step up or proven Managing QS candidates. Previous experience leading projects over £50m in single value is essential for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take responsibility for working across all commercial management functions on a large project overseeing a team of Quantity Surveyors. Key duties include: producing CVRs, managing team workload to include applications for payment from sub-contractors, variations and preparation of final accounts. You will be reporting at a senior level to directors and help build the team and overall growth of the region.

Desirable Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience at a Senior or Managing QS level leading new build projects c£50m+
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working on 2-stage projects would be advantageous.
• Sector experience to include atleast one of the following - Commercial, Industrial or Defence.
• Previous Roles: Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Managing QS OR Commercial Manager OR Lead Quantity Surveyor OR Principal Quantity Surveyor or Project Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
