Job summary
Nexus Life Sciences in Norwich seeks an experienced MS Method Development Lead to develop and validate LCMSMS bioanalytical methods under GxP standards. You will lead a skilled team, optimise extraction techniques and chromatography, and ensure regulatory compliance.
This role combines hands-on method development with leadership responsibilities, offering opportunities to influence assay strategies and contribute to innovative bioanalytical projects within a collaborative lab environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field.
- GxP laboratory experience with leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead method development and validation as subject matter expert.
- Optimise extraction, chromatography, and LC columns.
- Manage and mentor the Method Development & Validation team.
- Ensure GLP, SOPs, and international guidelines compliance.
- Troubleshoot analytical methods and implement improvements.
- Oversee lab operations and consumables spend.
- Write and approve Methods of Analysis; transfer validated methods to teams.
- Support regulatory submissions and resolve queries.
- Conduct investigations and drive CAPAs and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and ensure adherence to GLP SOPs.
- Lead team meetings and staff development sessions.
