LGC Assure in Fordham near Newmarket seeks an experienced Senior Analytical Scientist to lead LC‑MS/MS method development and validation in a busy analytical laboratory. You will independently develop, optimise and validate methods, troubleshoot complex challenges, and contribute to new testing solutions for anti‑doping and sports testing programmes.

Competenze

• Degree in Chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline.
• Significant hands-on experience using LC‑MS instrumentation in an analytical laboratory.
• Experience independently developing, optimising and validating analytical methods.
• Experience troubleshooting analytical methods and instrumentation.
• Experience developing extraction methods and sample preparation workflows.
• Ability to interpret complex analytical data and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Independently develop, optimise and validate LC‑MS analytical methods from feasibility to validation and implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex analytical challenges and identify practical solutions to improve performance.
