Job summary

LGC Limited’s Fordham, Cambridgeshire laboratory seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Lead for on-site role. You will guide accreditation, governance, and continuous improvement across scientific operations, liaising with both technical and operational teams.

Ideal candidates will manage the QMS, drive audits and risk assessments, and balance compliance with efficient workflows, shaping quality culture and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading a Quality Management System within an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab.
• Ability to translate accreditation requirements into practical working processes.
• Experience leading audits, CAPA, risk assessments and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality across the business and provide expert guidance on accreditation and compliance.
• Own and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive accreditation activities and support ISO 17025 requirements.
• Lead audits, investigations and corrective actions to ensure lasting improvements.
• Improve systems and processes, including digital quality tools and eQMS.
