Job summary

ALTEN seeks an experienced Landing Gear Dynamics Engineer to join our aerospace team, developing and validating multibody dynamics models for landing gear systems, and supporting the full lifecycle from concept to customer demos.

You will collaborate with systems, structural, mechanical and integration engineers, producing technical reports and verification evidence to meet engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Significant experience in landing gear dynamics and multibody dynamics.
• Proven ability to model, simulate, and analyse complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multibody dynamics models for landing gear systems.
• Perform dynamic simulations to evaluate loads, stability and behaviour.
• Produce technical reports and verification evidence for engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, structural, mechanical and integration engineers.
• Support preliminary design reviews and customer demonstrations.
