Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an experienced Landing Gear Dynamics Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team in the UK, focusing on multibody dynamics modelling, simulation, and analysis across the full lifecycle from concept to customer demonstrations.

You will work with systems, structural and mechanical engineers, produce verification evidence, and support PDRs and design reviews on challenging landing gear programmes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as Landing Gear Dynamics Engineer or similar role.
• Strong background in multibody dynamics modelling and simulation.
• Experience with dynamic analysis of complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multibody dynamics models for landing gear systems.
• Perform dynamic simulations to evaluate performance, loads and stability.
• Translate simulation results into engineering recommendations.
• Produce technical reports and verification evidence for requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, structural, mechanical and integration engineers.
• Support technical reviews including PDRs and customer demos.
