Placements24 seeks a qualified Land Surveyor for a role in Randburg, Gauteng. You will conduct topographic and boundary surveys, perform construction set-outs, and provide precise geospatial data for design and planning.

Proficiency with modern surveying tools and strong attention to detail are essential. The position requires a National Diploma or B.Tech in Surveying/Geomatics, SAGC registration, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience, with infrastructure and development focus.
• Registration with SAGC as Professional Land Surveyor or Professional Surveyor is required.
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and data processing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic and boundary surveys, and setting out for construction projects.
• Utilize total stations, GPS/GNSS, and 3D scanners for data collection.
• Process survey data and produce maps, plans, and reports.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to define project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with surveying legislation, standards, and codes of conduct.
• Maintain equipment and manage survey tasks to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior surveyors and supervise survey crews.
