About the Role

Our client, a multidisciplinary consulting firm, is seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng . This role is integral to various infrastructure and property development projects, requiring precise measurement and mapping services. You will be responsible for conducting topographic surveys, boundary surveys, setting out for construction, and providing geospatial data for design and planning purposes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with modern surveying equipment and software, and committed to accuracy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for various projects.
• Utilize advanced surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, 3D scanners) and software.
• Perform setting out of engineering works, boundaries, and control points on construction sites.
• Process survey data and produce accurate maps, plans, and reports.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to understand project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant surveying legislation, standards, and professional codes of conduct.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order.

Requirements

• A National Diploma or B.Tech in Surveying or Geomatics, or equivalent qualification.
