SSE is seeking experienced Land Managers to secure land rights for major 400kV projects across Scotland. You will combine landagent expertise with large-scale utilities experience to manage wayleaves, CPOs and compensation while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. The role is based in Scotland, with 50% office time in Inverness.

The position offers permanent, full-time work under a flexible-first approach, tailored for energy infrastructure delivery and career growth within SSE Transmission.

Formación

• Understanding of landownership systems in Scotland and land management practices.
• Experience with wayleaves, servitudes, land acquisition and compensation principles.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare wayleaves and compulsory purchase orders.
• Liaise with landowners and occupiers about routes and site selection.
• Assess impact of infrastructure on land and businesses.
• Negotiate wayleaves or servitudes and ensure best practice in land management.
• Involve valuation and compensation assessment to balance agreements.
