Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Senior Kotlin Developer to join our UK Digital & Cloud Practice. You will work on large-scale transformation and migration projects for public and private sector clients, delivering high-quality cloud-based software.

You will code in Kotlin and backend frameworks, while also handling frontend work with TypeScript and Node.js. The role involves technical leadership, architecture, estimation, and mentoring teammates in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns including microservices and event-driven design.
• Experience in application and digital services design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Hands-on development using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Provide technical leadership within a team to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Work within an agile delivery methodology and own product/design for features.
