Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Technical Lead to join our UK Digital & Cloud Practice, driving large-scale transformational and migration projects across public and private sectors.

You will provide technical leadership, own architecture and design decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders while mentoring junior team members in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering large-scale Java applications.
• Experience with microservices and API design.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor junior developers.
• SC Eligible security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to coordinate scalable, secure solutions.
• Work within an Agile delivery methodology to ensure timely, high-quality software.
• Own product or software solution design, estimation, and requirements.
• Document architecture, configuration, release, and handover.
• Collaborate with PMs, BAs, Testing, Product, etc.
• Mentor and develop team members.
