Hippo is a rapidly growing digital consultancy delivering transformative solutions for public and private sector clients. We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join the Hippo Herd and lead Kotlin development across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will act as a Senior Consultant delivering Kotlin development services, mentoring juniors, and ensuring technical excellence within squads. Expect on-site or client location work with travel as needed and a supportive, collaborative

Qualifications

Extensive Kotlin & JVM experience.
Strong Java and full development lifecycle experience.
Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks.
Proven track record delivering high-quality, robust solutions.
Expertise with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful services.
Knowledge of public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps, incl. containers.
Proficiency with Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Lead production of user-centered software aligned with business requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to design and deliver complex client solutions.
Own software development and deployment pipelines, resolving bottlenecks.
Communicate prototypes, solutions, and progress clearly to stakeholders.
