Job summary

Simon Acres Group is seeking an experienced Design Consultant/Mentor to deliver kitchen renovation consultations across the UK. You will design solutions, close sales and mentor Graduate Design Consultants, developing leadership skills within a supportive team.

You’ll meet homeowners, manage a pre-booked appointment flow and maintain CRM records while driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the kitchen design or home improvement sector.
• Consultative sales approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Commercial awareness with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel across your designated territory, including occasional overnight stays where required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-arranged in-home design consultations with prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored kitchen renovation solutions.
• Prepare straightforward kitchen designs using training and company systems.
• Present products, pricing and recommendations in a professional, consultative manner.
• Manage your own sales pipeline, customer communications and follow-up activity.
• Deliver and exceed monthly sales and performance objectives.
• Represent the client professionally throughout the customer journey.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.
• Promote your territory through social media with full training provided.
• Liaise closely with installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Mentor and support Graduate Design Consultants.
