Job summary

Arrows in West London is seeking a Java Engineer to work on modern, high-scale systems in a hybrid setup. You’ll design, develop and test microservice applications using Docker and Kubernetes, building scalable, maintainable software for distributed systems.

You’ll mentor juniors, contribute to training, and shape engineering practices while working within event-driven architectures and modern tooling. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and microservices.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Kafka experience required.
• Experience with build tools Jenkins, Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Solid understanding of Scrum/XP and TDD/BDD practices.
• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities
