Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining microservices.
• Hands-on experience working with PostGres.
• Background working in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Strong understanding of software testing and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing performant, scalable backend systems using Java.
• Working with PostGres and building microservices with Spring Boot.
• Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and event-driven systems.
• Writing clean, testable code and following TDD principles.
• Working closely with DevOps, Product, and QA teams.
