Job summary

Senior Engineer position in Osterley, West London, offered on a contract basis with hybrid work (2 days onsite per week). The role requires strong Java/Spring, plus experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and observability tools.

You will design, develop and deploy web apps and RESTful services, and work across teams to deliver reliable systems. Excellent scripting and Linux knowledge, plus hands-on testing and a proactive learning mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and Spring knowledge with AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana and Jenkins.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying web apps, RESTful APIs or event-driven systems with Kafka.
• Experience with automated test frameworks including non-functional requirements.
