Client Server seeks a Java Developer to design and deliver projects for clients, with emphasis on Kafka messaging and modern cloud deployments in London. You will join a globally-oriented technology consultancy known for engineering excellence.

The role offers hybrid working with three days onsite, ongoing learning, and exposure to financial services projects. Strong Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Java development with multi-threading and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging tools.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs.
• Strong AWS understanding.
• Strong CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns).
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative and client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver projects for clients, focusing on Kafka messaging.
• Migrate legacy systems to AWS and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Work in a collaborative team with continuous improvement of client systems.
