Job summary

LA International seeks a Senior Java Developer for a 12-month contract in London. Role is hybrid with up to one day onsite weekly, on a market-rate daily basis via Umbrella.

You’ll design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, with Kafka for event-driven flows and AWS with Docker/Kubernetes (EKS). Responsibilities include RESTful API design, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, and performance monitoring using New Relic.

• Strong hands-on Java development experience with Spring Boot.
