Job summary

Involved Solutions is seeking Java Developers for a 12-month contract on a government digital delivery programme. You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop and support large-scale digital services using modern cloud and event-driven technologies.

The role requires strong Java and Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and MongoDB experience, in an Agile environment. Hybrid working with 60% office attendance across Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham is offered, with BPSS clearance eligible for

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing Java applications.
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience.
• Proven AWS cloud services experience.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Experience in Agile, multidisciplinary software development teams.
• Ability to develop robust, scalable and maintainable solutions in complex environments.
• Government or large-scale digital service experience is desirable.
