Job summary

Agilis Recruitment partners with an established technology organisation delivering specialist software and engineering solutions for highly regulated environments in the UK. They are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their growing engineering team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will design, develop and integrate software using Java and C++, Spring Boot, and modern CI/CD practices. A requirement is holding eSC or eDV clearance with right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and C++ experience.
• Proficient with Spring Boot.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Testing and debugging in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java and C++.
• Build and integrate applications using Spring Boot and modern software engineering approaches.
• Contribute to high-performance, reliable software systems.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues and improve systems.
