Job summary

Wolviston Management Services is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our technology consultancy in a hybrid role based in the UK, with Newcastle or Edinburgh as primary hubs and attendance roughly once a month.

You will design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications, build RESTful APIs and microservices, and work closely with clients to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role requires strong Java experience, modern frameworks, and collaborative agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building enterprise Java applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficient in Git and modern development workflows.
• Comfortable in client-facing, consultancy projects.

Responsibilities
