Job summary
A technology solutions company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and develop secure enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in cloud solutions, proficient in JAVA and JVM languages, and familiar with Agile methodologies. Qualifications
- At least 5 years professional experience delivering production grade cloud solutions.
- Experience in building, optimising, and operating Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, deploy and enhance features to platforms and services.
- Actively participate in the team’s estimation of user stories.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers in cross-functional teams.
Skills
Fluent in writing JAVA coding
Experience with JVM compatible languages (Kotlin, Scala)
Experience with Kafka or a similar platform
Agile DevSecOps environments experience
Integrating with PostgreSQL, Redis or S3
Good engineering practices
Using GitHub/GitLab/Atlassian Suite
Test Driven Development experience
Experience with micro-service design patterns
Experience in Big Data technologies
