Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking an Application Architect to lead the design of scalable, cloud-based financial services solutions. You will partner with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to drive architecture strategy and delivery of key products such as World-Check One, Screening and Due Diligence.

You will guide design choices, influence technology strategy, and champion best practices in security, availability and performance across the LSEG ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecting highly scalable distributed systems.
• Proven track record delivering Application and Cloud Architectures.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/REST API design and security.
• Familiarity with GDPR and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead architecture designs for cloud-based applications.
• Define cloud infrastructure and ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape solutions.
• Lead governance, privacy gates, and risk analysis across projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other architects.
