Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a technical leader to design and build its AWS-based AI platform. The Lead will own architectural decisions, ensure security and scalability, and work with internal teams and vendors to accelerate AI adoption.

You will bring deep AWS expertise, governance skills, and the ability to guide cloud engineering teams toward enterprise-grade platform solutions, collaborating across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud and hybrid AWS platform solutions.
• Deep expertise with AWS native services and AWS Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Proven experience building AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
• Strong CI/CD engineering background.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, GitLab).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and build advanced AWS cloud platform services and capabilities.
• Lead architectural decisions across provisioning, automation, CI/CD, networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, governance, and cost management.
• Ensure effective implementation of AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and specialists to improve cloud platform efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor and guide cloud engineering teams and communities of practice.
