Job summary

Egis in the UK is delivering iconic infrastructure projects and seeking an experienced ITS/ Technology Design leader to oversee design and delivery with external consultants. You will manage design delivery, ensure quality standards, coordinate with NH SES and internal teams, and drive continuous improvement while meeting budget and programme constraints.

This role is UK-based and requires eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications in engineering or related field.
• Membership of a professional institution (IET or IHE).
• Working towards IEng or CEng level and competent in ITS/ Technology design and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review, leadership and management of ITS/ Technology systems design undertaken by Framework and external consultants.
• Manage cost-effective design solutions to maintain or improve ITS/ Technology assets to agreed standards.
• Coordinate with design, asset and PM teams and external organisations to meet CPS quality standards.
• Deliver outcomes with National Highways to programme and budget; ensure timely sign-off.
• Lead in-house design of technology packages and optioneering with whole life costing.
• Liaise with National Highways, CP and CPS teams; ensure learning and best practices are shared.
