Job summary

Egis is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead complex highways and technology schemes in the UK. The role supports flexible working from Leatherhead, South Mimms or Dartford with occasional travel, including night shifts for H&S audits.

You will drive project objectives across health and safety, quality, cost, environment, delivery and people, coordinating teams and stakeholders through all lifecycle stages from feasibility to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project teams to deliver multiple schemes.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships.
• Commercial focus with contract delivery experience.
• Resilience to manage conflicting priorities and setbacks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder management with Portfolio Manager, SPM and teams to align delivery objectives.
• Maintain contract clarity, manage risks, report performance, keep records.
• Design and implement project plans with appropriate resourcing.
• Lead programmes through feasibility, design, construction and handover.
• Contribute to cost profiling and risk quantification.
• Identify and mitigate emerging risks, issues and dependencies.
• Manage performance of Sub Contractors and Designers, ensure HSE compliance.
• Support sustainability activities including net zero and biodiversity gains.
• Coordinate permits, certificates and site reporting to project needs.
• Manage NEC Contract Options as Project Manager.
