Job summary

Egis in the UK is seeking an entry-level ITS/Technology design engineer to support the M25 Connect Plus Services project. Under guidance from senior engineers, you will help develop and coordinate roadside technology designs across CCTV, signals, VMS, ERT and MIDAS, contributing to safe, cost-effective solutions.

You will gain structured mentoring, on-the-job learning, and pathways toward professional accreditation while developing design and project lifecycle skills.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in electrical/telecoms with a relevant degree.
• Interest in pursuing professional registration.
• Basic understanding of ITS/Technology systems and principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist ITS/Technology design assets under supervision from senior engineers.
• Contribute to drawings, documents, and technical reports.
• Support design reviews to ensure standards compliance.
• Participate in optioneering and feasibility activities with data gathering.
• Help compile design briefs and technical inputs for suppliers.
• Assist in monitoring progress against programme and budget.
