St George's Weybridge is seeking a Senior IT Technician to join the IT Department. This role oversees the day-to-day Service Desk operations, delivering reliable IT support to staff and pupils and supporting the Deputy Director, Network Engineer, and Systems Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in managing a Service Desk and escalation processes. AV skills are welcome but not essential, as the team also provides audiovisual support.
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility outside standard hours may occasionally be required to support school events. Attendance at Open Mornings is required.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on qualifications, skills and experience
We are seeking an energetic, efficient and customer focused Senior IT Technician to join the IT Department. This is a key role working closely with the Deputy Director of IT, the Network Engineer and the Systems Engineer, providing essential IT support to the College, Junior School and Business departments.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk, ensuring an efficient service to staff and students. You will have strong communication skills and a good working knowledge of managing a Service Desk function and ticket escalation system.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and hone their skills in a working environment that provides exceptional exposure to a wide range of different technologies. The role suits an experienced IT support professional who is confident working directly with staff and pupils, and able to bring structure and good practice to how the Service Desk operates.
Candidates with AV skills are welcomed as the team provides audiovisual support alongside its core IT remit, although this is not an essential requirement of the position.
