Wimbledon High School GDST is seeking an enthusiastic ICT First Line Technician to join the team in London. You will provide first-line assistance to staff and students, manage tickets, and help resolve routine technical faults across Windows and Apple devices.
Working under guidance from senior ICT colleagues, you will install hardware/software, support printers and AV equipment, and contribute to maintenance and upgrades within a collaborative ICT team focused on delivering excellent service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual with a strong interest in technology and delivering excellent service. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in ICT within a supportive school environment. As an ICT First Line Technician at Wimbledon High School, you will be a key member of the ICT team, providing first-line support to staff and students. Working under the direction of senior ICT colleagues, you will help resolve day-to-day technical issues, ensure support requests are handled efficiently, and contribute to the smooth running of the school's technology services. You will manage helpdesk tickets, diagnose and resolve routine technical faults, install and configure hardware and software, support Windows and Apple devices, and assist with maintenance, upgrades and equipment repairs. You will also support printers, network-connected devices and audio-visual equipment for assemblies, events and visiting speakers. More complex issues will be referred to senior members of the ICT team, who will provide guidance and support as required. We are seeking someone with experience in a customer service, helpdesk or entry-level ICT support role who is keen to broaden their technical skills and knowledge. You will be organised, approachable and eager to learn, with strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. The ability to work through routine issues independently, follow established procedures, and recognise when to seek guidance or elevate a problem is essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies while developing your skills within a collaborative and experienced ICT team.
