Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust in Farnworth seeks a Senior IT Systems Engineer focusing on M365 and 3rd line support to deliver secure, resilient IT services across Bolton.

You will lead server architectures (physical and virtual), cyber security, DSPT compliance and cloud infrastructure, working within a busy 3rd line team and supporting numerous sites.

Qualifications

• Strong IT technical skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Experience in 3rd line support and IT project delivery.
• Understanding of server architecture (physical/virtual) and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cyber security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• 3rd Line Support, Projects and Architecture for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and partners.
• Maintain and monitor a secure virtualised environment and Active Directory heritage.
• Monitor and improve cyber security controls and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with DSPT, CAF and ISO 27001 or equivalent standards.
