Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking an experienced O365/MDM Senior Engineer for a hands-on role covering Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure and end-user environments. The contract is 6 months, inside IR35, PAYE via umbrella, based in Manchester with 5 days onsite per week, at a rate of £500-£550 per day inside IR35.

The role includes contributing to infrastructure projects, automation and service improvement, while delivering high-quality documentation and leading key

Qualifications

• Strong experience across Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure.
• Hands-on end-user computing and desktop support experience.
• Proven ability to produce technical documentation and high-level designs (HLDs).
• Experience with SharePoint, Teams and Office 365 apps.
• Experience with enterprise mobile/device management and platform distributions.
• Familiarity with BlackBerry UEM and Android device management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, tune and troubleshoot enterprise systems, resolving incidents and service requests.
• Support the O365 and MDM teams in delivering BAU services and SLA commitments.
• Manage and schedule technical project activities with Project Managers to deliver outcomes.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs and configuration docs.
• Take a lead role in new IT infrastructure and modern workplace projects.
• Share knowledge and best practices across client environments.
• Provide senior-level support across collaborative systems and standard operating environments.
