Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Technology Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote IT support across our UK offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will handle hardware, software and network issues, support meeting-room tech, and keep endpoints secure and up-to-date.

The role requires 4–5 years of IT experience (or 7–8 years with a diploma), strong Windows/M365/Teams expertise, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualificações

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field with 4–5 years’ relevant experience, or a relevant diploma with 7–8 years’ experience.
• Experience providing IT support in a large corporate environment, ideally supporting around 200 users.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, endpoint support, network troubleshooting and remote support tools.
• Experience managing tickets, IT assets, vendors and small technology projects.
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership, manage priorities and support or mentor colleagues.
• Modern Desktop Administration, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Configure equipment and software, diagnose faults and keep users informed to resolution.
• Support video-conferencing and meeting-room technology and office IT setups or relocations.
• Prepare equipment and access for new starters, deliver IT inductions and offboard recoveries.
• Maintain tickets, asset records, procedures and training materials.
• Manage endpoint procurement, storage, refresh, secure data erasure and disposal.
• Coordinate vendors and monitor SLA performance.
• Lead local desktop projects and mentor colleagues to improve support processes.
