Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres is seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for our Head Office in Eastbourne. The role focuses on maintaining, securing and developing our technology infrastructure while leading a small team of IT Operations Engineers.

You will drive improvements in security, resilience and service quality, with occasional travel to Brewers sites. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility position requiring strong technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive infrastructure engineering experience across M365, Windows Server and networking.
• Proven track record of managing escalations and complex incidents.
• Experience mentoring IT Operations Engineers.
• Strong security, disaster recovery and business continuity understanding.
• Willing to travel to Brewers sites with UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and improvement of core IT infrastructure and services.
• Act as senior escalation point for incidents and outages.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to IT Operations Engineers.
• Drive infrastructure changes to improve security, resilience and performance.
• Lead high-risk changes with planning, testing, implementation and review.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity and governance activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to maintain service quality.
• Contribute to projects from design to support transition and ongoing optimisation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
